CLEAN Green Plan for the Region of Zealand

Get energy and resource consultancy fees covered, and gain support for new investments in your business

Would you like to save your business money and achieve a greener profile while helping to reduce energy and material consumption, benefiting the economy, the environment, and the climate?

Up to 100% reimbursement for energy and resource consultancy

Most businesses have the potential to optimise energy or resource efficiency. Some can optimise both.

With the CLEAN Green Plan, you have an opportunity to collaborate with a specialist advisor in reviewing your business’s potential for optimisation, with up to 100% of the consultancy costs covered. You will receive specific guidance and calculations for initiatives that can make your business’s energy and resource flows more efficient.

These initiatives are collected in an overview that we call a green business plan. It gives you a solid decision-making foundation for future green investments. You can choose the advisor you wish to work with yourself.

Implementation: Money for improvements

You can apply for financial support to implement the initiatives collected in your green business plan. The value of this support will equal up to 30% of the implementation costs.

Someone to hold your hand: Get free help from Energy Cluster Denmark

Does having your business’s energy and resource consumption reviewed sound daunting and unmanageable? Energy Cluster Denmark offers free help with this in the form of an introductory discussion about your business’s opportunities. Afterwards, we hold your hand, helping you to develop a project brief for a consultant, find the right consultant, and get a completed plan, ready for implementation. If you have questions along the way, there are always opportunities to get feedback and guidance.

Who can participate?

This project is geared towards small- and medium-sized businesses which:

  • have fewer than 250 employees, and
  • have an annual turnover no greater than 50 million EUR, and/or
  • have a combined annual balance no greater than 43 million EUR
  • are motivated to begin a green development collaboration within the business — that is, to spend some time on it and log those hours.

Where does the money come from? This project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund and regional business development funds. These are public funds designated for improving energy and resource efficiency in Danish SMEs, both to strengthen their competitiveness and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
