We are very pleased to invite you to our webinar about safety aspects related to Power to X
A new guideline for fast establishing of a safe PtX plant in Denmark, was released on the 10th of September 2024 at a release event at DFDS locations in Copenhagen.
On this webinar we will do an introduction to the guideline and introduce how the guideline can be used by all relevant stakeholders in the PtX industry, including society.

Jesper Sjørvad
Jesper is Business Developer at DBI and has been the Project Leader of this guideline. He comes from the maritime sector, offshore Oil and Gas, and offshore WTG industry. Here he has mainly worked with all aspects of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) including training and course development.
In his presentation, he will introduce the guideline and go through the chapters in the guideline and give examples on how it can be used. This will include many of the identified challenges related to PtX for both the industry and society
Mette Marie
Mette Marie Vad Karsten is a manager of social science and new talents at DBI. She holds a PhD in anthropology focusing on digitisation and organisational change management, and she has worked for the past 10 years with generating impactful user experience insights across diverse fields such as volunteerism, health, digital behaviour, risk and safety, AI, and sustainability. Since 2021, she has been closely involved in driving DBIu2019s work on understanding the social and cultural dynamics of PtX technologies and implementation, and she is one of the co-authors of the Safe and Faster PtX Guideline.
In her presentation, she will dive into the content of the guideline concerning public perception, and expand on the content with more background knowledge on how to understand varying degrees of public engagement. She will also cover the main items of the guidelineu2019s suggested plan for public engagement and bring additional suggestion and concrete steps to consider in this endeavour.
Rian Holdstock
Rian is a project manager at FORCE Technology and has a background in the design and fabrication of steel infrastructure, specifically for the energy industry. In the presentation today, Rian will talk about technical approval and acceptance for power to X. His presentation will include technical standards, European directives and Danish Bekendtgørelse. A highlight of his presentation will be the roadmap that was developed, which gives us a holistic view of the acceptance and approval process for Denmark.
