Data-driven potential in cold storage


Aims to identify potentials for optimising the business case and efficiency of cold storage, and to identify potential flexibility that can be offered to the power grid. Knowledge will be based on the existing production set-up and historical data.

Solution idea

Based on new data from cold stores, a feasibility study will be conducted with simulations of changed forecast models, control strategies, and implementation of such parameters as price signals and CO2 signals in MPC controllers to best serve the business and the power grid while reducing CO2.
